As we spring into spring at YCC, here are a few things you should know right now!

• We are open during regular hours during the kids’ school spring breaks. This is because not all schools break at the same time. Recap – Monday to Thursday 2:30 to 6:00 and Friday 12:00 to 5:00. Please send your kids to YCC at 2:30, they are allowed to bring friends anytime!
• All kids can visit for a day once, and if they want to register, they will take a registration form home and will have to bring the completed form back the next time they attend. Your registration form is confidential and the information is immediately inputted into our database. The only way to receive our emails is to have a registered youth! All kids 8-15 are welcome to register.
• Last Chance for After Dark for kids in grades 9-12! This Friday March 27 (6:00 to 11:00) is the last of our pilot of “YCC After Dark”. Lots of good food, games, movies and just hanging out at YCC after hours.  Stay tuned on whether we continue YCC After Dark in the spring and summer!

FINALLY – BIG NEWS – We have a new program that all kids can register for in Forest Lawn. Some generous musicians (formerly of Phil Kids of the Calgary Philharmonic) are offering a series of learn and listen and try a bunch of instruments sessions in our music studio room. I’ve attached the flyer that explains the fun we’ll have in Forest Lawn in April and May. Register soon! It’ll be chill, zero pressure, an opportunity to try a bunch of instruments, and will open us all to a world of music for the kids and YCC staff.  Please text me or email info@youthcentresofcalgary.com with questions about how to register.
